My Dad blaims the coldsore "fairy" when you say out loud that you haven't had a coldsore in ages and then wake up the following day with a huge one on your lip! I ended up getting a cold sore now but it only has 2 little blisters and isnt noticable. when i wasnt taking the lysine, there was ALWAYS at least 6 or 7 blisters and my cold sore was huge. even with abreva, that didnt work at all. I def. reccomend taking 4 of the lysine pills when you feel the itching/tingle. If you end up getting one, keep taking the pills. It really does help the L-Lysine is the only thing that has worked for me.
